Index Finds New Home on Middle Abbey Street Dublin’s iconic club, Index, is moving to Middle Abbey Street, reopening its doors on February 14th. The club has moved from Arran Quay to Liberty Lane and now to their biggest venue yet at The Academy. Backed by District 8 and Life Festival, the launch marks a fresh chapter in the capital’s electronic music scene. The bigger venue will most likely mean even bigger bookings! Link Juice Jar to Open First Dublin Store Popular Northern Irish brand Juice Jar is set to open its first Republic of Ireland location on Dawson Street this March. Known for its juices, acai bowls, and coffee, the new store will create 16 jobs and introduce wellness events like “Run Clubs” to Dublin. Mama Shee’s Opens Permanent Tallaght Location After six years of hard graft, Edizemi Onilenla has officially opened the doors to Mama Shee’s first permanent spot in Tallaght on Monday, 20th January. With a mission to introduce the rich, vibrant flavours of Nigerian cuisine to Dublin, Edizemi went from a food stall to SuperValu shelves, and now to a bricks-and-mortar location at D24N525. Link Dublin Kicks Off Year of the Snake Spring Festival Dublin’s 17th Annual Chinese New Year Festival, running from January 25 to February 2, celebrates the Year of the Snake with a variety of cultural events. Highlights include a Lunar New Year parade, traditional performances, calligraphy workshops, and a taste of Chinese cuisine, offering Dubliners a unique opportunity to experience China’s rich heritage. Link Dublin Digital Radio Celebrates New Studi Dublin Digital Radio (ddr.) will launch its new city centre studio at Flux on Chatham Row with a street party on 1st February. From 12 PM to 8 PM, the event will feature live broadcasts, cultural discussions, and a food pop-up, marking a new chapter for the community-driven station. Link TradFest This Weekend Dublin’s TradFest returns from January 22-26, filling the city with live Irish traditional music across 20+ venues.
